MINT AMOUNT AND PRICE
Lots of different opinions from everyone here! 4 people like 5,000 at .1 followed closely by 3 people at 7,777 at .77 (sorry again). Our final two options both had 2 votes.
Conclusion
I messed up and most likely skewed the results. Looks like the community wants different things for different reasons. Overall I believe it is safe to say that the majority prefer low mint, with a reflectively higher cost.
I THINK THE MINT COUNT SHOULD BE
Ok finally we get to an overwhelming opinion! Sure there were only 2 choices this time but let’s see what people said! A whopping 72%, or 8 people, said they want the mint count LOWER than 5,000. While only 3 wanted a higher than 5,000 mint count.
Conclusion
Re-affirms our belief that the community wants rarity!
I THINK THE COST PER VOGU SHOULD BE
Another split! 54% wanted higher than .07 while 45% wanted lower than .07. That’s the difference of only 1 vote!
Conclusion
Split between a premium price and an affordable entry.
So let’s sum all this up!
From our two polls we can tell the community would like to see some rarity in the mint count. 10,000, though widely becoming the norm, is a little bit too much. With rarity, comes value in the secondary market. We can see why it’s important to collectors.
With price points we saw a bit of a difference of opinion but overall I think the community feels the same way. We want the price to be affordable enough for an entry point but also a price that reflects the increased rarity.
So what now? Well, as a team we need to look at what the community wants and measure that against being able to fund the next 2–3 years for this project. We know that 10,000 mint is too much, so we can eliminate that. If we look at price points I think .05-.1 is the sweet spot and should reflect the mint count. Personally, I really like the idea of 7,777 at .07. We can even bring some imagery into the accessories with 777 stickers and other fun things. Use general chat to give us some feedback! At the end of this week we will announce the final decision!
